Killarney Bonfire Night

Author: KBFN

Unique Fire Drums heat up the night at Winter in Killarney: Bonfire Night. Traditionally, a Fire Drum is a 44 Gallon Drum with axe holes knocked in for air; but for Bonfire Night the drums are “hotted up”. Cut up, welded and punched to make functional works of art. The fire drums aren't the only attraction, the bonfire night team have planned live music by Bruce Halter, fireworks, a jumping castle, a multi-draw raffle and, of course, a giant bonfire. Keep warm with winter food including pumpkin soup, curry, BBQ, popcorn and hot chips. For those with adult tastes, a can bar with traditional mulled wine will be offered. Rug up and get out in the cold to celebrate Jumpers & Jazz and raise money for Killarney Memorial Aged Care.
